WiFi Scanner
Results from Agent WiFi scans are presented here in an online version of WiFi Scanner. Select a row to view information down in the SSID Details section.
Note: iOS does not allow apps to perform WiFi Scans. Please view the workaround at the bottom of this page.
Right click on the column headers to add/hide different information columns.
Filter
Narrow the results shown in the table and on the graphs by filtering down to specific elements.
Table
Select a row by clicking to display SSID Details and highlight that SSID on the graphs below. Checked rows display the information in the graphs below.

Info/graphs
Visualize the selected information in troubleshooting graphs such as Channel Occupancy in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz channels.
iOS WiFi Scanning
Apple does not allow iOS apps to WiFi scan. It does, however, allow users to WiFi scan using its own AirPort Utility app. For more information on how to set up this app for WiFi scanning, please check out our blog:

Once you have AirPort Utility set up for WiFi scanning, users can post the scan information to the Optifi Agent app (make sure the app is open, signed in, and running when posting to it).
- When the scan is finished, use the Export icon in the bottom left.
- If Optifi Agent is not an option in the middle section, swipe across and select More.
- Activate Optifi Agent
- Select Optifi Agent and then Post it!
- The WiFi Scan information will be sent to the Optifi Manager in the WiFi Scanner tab, not in Agent Status.
